England's defense of the Females World Cup is over after Western Indies reserved their position in the ultimate with a surprise eight-run win over Australia in Mumbai.
A Western Indies beat would have given England the opportunity to arrive at the ultimate by defeating New Zealand on Wed.But the Aussies, who had already achieved the ultimate, missing four wickets for 10 operates and were all out for 156.
The win places the Western Indies into their first World Cup last and provides England's present activity useless.
Before Wednesday's circular of suits, protecting winners Britain had missing two activities in the competition, starting with a surprise opposite against Sri Lanka, while they then experienced a two-run beat by Sydney in their starting Extremely Six go with.
West Indies missing the starting activity of the competition to Indian (though that outcome was not taken through to the next stage as Indian did not qualify) but gradually won all three of their Extremely Six activities.
The Extremely Six reduction to Sydney remaining Britain requiring other outcomes to go their way, but a smashing success over Southern African-american, in addition to New Zealand's reduction to Western Indies, enhanced their cause.
Australia seemed to be going for success against Western Indies, only for the Carribbean part to hit returning and end England's desires.
England will now perform off for third position against New Zealand on Saturday.
